Dr. Maricela B. is a board-certified psychiatrist and public health physician with a comprehensive background in integrative mental health, community psychiatry, and academic medicine. She is the CEO and founder of MENTE SANA – Integrative & Functional Psychiatry, a concierge Direct Specialty Care practice in Newport Beach dedicated to whole-person, culturally attuned, and evidence-based psychiatric care. Her clinical approach blends traditional psychiatry with functional medicine, nutritional and metabolic optimization, hormone and sleep assessment, and mind–body interventions—offering a modern, holistic framework for supporting patients and collaborating providers.
