Dr. Michael T. is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in clinical care, medical leadership, and supervision across emergency, inpatient, consult-liaison, and outpatient psychiatric settings. He currently serves as Medical Director of a comprehensive outpatient mental health clinic contracted with the Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health, where he provides both organizational medical oversight and direct psychiatric care. In this role, he supervises a large multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, LCSWs, LMFTs, and unlicensed clinicians, supporting high-quality, coordinated care for patients with complex and severe mental illness. Dr. Michael T.’s clinical expertise includes the treatment of major depressive disorder, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and personality disorders across diverse populations. Prior to his current position, he was a core faculty member of the UCSF–Fresno Psychiatry Residency Program and served as site coordinator for the Emergency Psychiatry Rotation. He has extensive experience supervising psychiatry residents in emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric units, and consult-liaison services, as well as serving as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students.
