Manuel G​,​ MD Psychiatrist

Dr. Manuel G. is a board-certified psychiatrist with specialized training in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry and more than three decades of clinical, academic, and industry leadership experience. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by residency in psychiatry and fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego. Throughout his career, Dr. Manuel G. has maintained an active clinical practice while holding faculty appointments at the University of Pittsburgh and UCSD. He has also served in senior leadership roles within Medical Affairs at major pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Sunovion, Mylan, and Sage Therapeutics, where he focused on scientific education, physician engagement, and evidence-based clinical strategy. In addition, he has provided behavioral health leadership within managed care and military health systems. Dr. Manuel G. is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and has been a longstanding leader within the San Diego Psychiatric Society, serving as Treasurer, President-Elect, and President.
