Dr. Moniqua T. is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with broad clinical experience across outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and correctional settings. Her career reflects a strong commitment to delivering patient-centered, developmentally informed, and evidence-based psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan. She provides both virtual and in-person services and continues to contribute to academic training through ongoing lectures for a former Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program. Dr. Moniqua T.’s early career included several years of independent practice prior to completing fellowship training. During this period, she provided three years of psychiatric emergency consultations and two years of correctional psychiatry services, gaining early exposure to complex, high-acuity, and underserved patient populations. In the last two years, Dr. Moniqua T. has taken on significant clinical and leadership roles. She served as Unit Director for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Unit, where she oversaw both clinical operations and administrative responsibilities. She also spent several months as Interim Medical Director, guiding program workflows, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and enhancing patient care systems. Currently, she practices in multiple PRN inpatient pediatric settings and maintains an active outpatient practice where she treats patients of all ages—from early childhood through geriatrics.
