I have a very broad area of practice with many special interests. I currently split my time between the Utah State Hospital managing patients with severe and persistent mental illness, Emergency and consult/liaison psychiatry in many different states performing risk assessments and crisis intervention and overseeing a growing private practice with a focus on interventional psychiatry using transcranial magnetic stimulation and ketamine. I am passionate about promoting access to these needed treatments and I would be thrilled to work with a nurse practitioner looking to add TMS and/or ketamine services to their clinic. I am certified with MagVenture, NeuroStar and Brainsway TMS systems and I am familiar with the pros and cons of each system to help you make informed decisions about what machine to use for a given population. My clinic also heavily utilizes Spravato, IV and IM ketamine and I can help you implement these treatments into your clinic by working with you to establish protocols and systems to deploy these treatments efficiently and effectively. I am also a certified speaker for Spravato and I would love to come visit you at your clinic and share a sponsored talk with the providers in your area. I also can connect you with billing services that specialize in obtaining prior authorizations and submitting claims to carriers for these procedures.
