Dr. Mariam G. is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience in adult and forensic psychiatry. She provides compassionate and thorough psychiatric care through her private practice as well as in partnership with multiple behavioral health organizations. She earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed advanced training in forensic psychiatry through a fellowship at Oregon Health Sciences University, followed by a research fellowship at Columbia University. Her work spans both clinical and forensic psychiatry, and she is actively involved in providing expert psychiatric evaluations in legal contexts. Dr. Mariam G. takes a holistic, trauma-informed approach to care, emphasizing biological, psychological, and social dimensions in her treatment planning. She has a particular interest in working with survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence and often supports women in the perinatal and postpartum stages with mental health challenges.
