Dr. Cassy F. is a dual board-certified psychiatrist and family medicine physician with extensive experience providing care in community health settings. With a unique background spanning both physical and mental health disciplines, they bring a whole-person, trauma-informed approach to care. Their clinical focus includes the treatment of depressive, anxiety, trauma, bipolar, obsessive-compulsive, psychotic, and substance use disorders, as well as specialized expertise in gender-affirming and sexual health care. Dr. F. completed their combined residency in Family Medicine and Psychiatry at UC Davis Medical Center. They have held leadership roles such as Psychiatry Medical Director at Santa Cruz Community Health and Gender Affirming Care Program Director at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte. They are actively involved in teaching and curriculum development, and currently serve as a clinical preceptor for Morehouse School of Medicine.
