Since 1995, he has worked closely with nurse practitioners in both community mental health and private practice settings, providing clinical oversight, mentorship, and a collaborative approach to patient care. Licensed in Ohio, Florida, California, Indiana, Georgia, and Pennsylvania (with Texas pending), Dr. F treats patients across the lifespan—from children as young as six to adults and geriatric populations—via both in-person and telehealth platforms. He has extensive expertise in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions, as well as substance use disorders. In 2006, Dr. F became licensed to treat Opiate Use Disorder with Suboxone/Subutex, helping over 2,000 individuals safely detox and taper off controlled substances. He combines medication management, psychotherapy, and patient-centered care to address both acute and long-term needs.
