Dr. Tara C. is a board-certified psychiatrist with subspecialty certification in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She completed her psychiatry residency and fellowship training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-West in New York City. Her career has spanned acute inpatient psychiatry, nursing home consultation, long-term care, outpatient telepsychiatry, and utilization review. Having trained and practiced extensively in New York City, Dr. Tara C. has treated a wide spectrum of patients, including those with severe persistent mental illness, rare diseases, and complex medical-psychiatric comorbidities. She also brings strong experience in geriatric psychiatry and remains well-versed in internal medicine, enhancing her ability to address psychiatric needs in medically complex patients, including those impacted by long COVID.
