Dr. Alice F. is a board-certified psychiatrist with over eight years of experience serving as Medical Director of a psychiatric practice providing comprehensive care to both adult and child/adolescent populations. She is extensively trained in psychopharmacology and a wide range of psychotherapies, with clinical expertise spanning the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, personality disorders, trauma-related conditions, and self-harm behaviors. Dr. Alice F. has specialized training through the American Psychiatric Association’s Collaborative Care Model program, equipping her to support integrated care teams and serve as a psychiatric consultant within both in-person and remote practice environments.
Dr. Alice F. completed her medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and graduated with distinction from George Mason University, where her academic work included advanced study programs at Oxford University and Cambridge University. She completed her psychiatry residency at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC—one of the nation’s most established forensic psychiatric hospitals—where she trained in acute and chronic inpatient psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, outpatient treatment, and specialized areas including geriatric, pediatric, and forensic psychiatry. Her internship at SUNY Downstate provided additional training in internal medicine, emergency medicine, anesthesiology, and critical care.
As Medical Director of Fields Behavioral Health, Dr. Alice F. oversees an outpatient psychiatric practice that provides both psychotherapy and medication management for a diverse patient population. Her practice also supports remote psychiatric supervision in emergency and outpatient settings and is expanding toward interventional psychiatric services such as TMS and ketamine treatment. Prior to her leadership role, she served as a Physician Medical Reviewer for the U.S. Army Physical Disability Agency, where she evaluated PTSD, TBI, and complex medical and psychiatric conditions requiring disability determination. She also worked as a Physician Examiner for QTC Medical Services, performing compensation and pension evaluations for military veterans and the Social Security Administration. Her research contributions include peer-reviewed publications and presentations with Johns Hopkins University and the American Psychiatric Association.
