Dr. Benjamin M. is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in Integrative Psychiatry, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, and Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, completing additional training through the Urban Underserved Track. He completed his psychiatry residency within the Mount Sinai Hospital system in New York City, where he spent several years providing intensive, community-based psychiatric care to underserved populations, including daily home visits as part of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in East Harlem.
Dr. Benjamin M. is a graduate fellow of the Integrative Psychiatry Institute Fellowship and completed advanced training through its Ketamine for Medical Providers Program, with sponsorship and certification from the American Society of Ketamine Physicians. He has trained extensively with leaders in ketamine-assisted therapy, including Phil Wolfson, MD, and currently co-leads clinician education through The Ketamine Training Center. His clinical and leadership experience includes serving as National Medical Director of Field Trip Health, one of the largest in-office ketamine-assisted therapy organizations, as well as Chief Medical Officer at Nue.Life and Innerwell, two large-scale, home-based ketamine-assisted therapy and integrative mental health platforms.
Deeply influenced by an ongoing interest in consciousness, contemplative practice, and integrative medicine, Dr. Benjamin M. is a graduate of Vajrayana Buddhist seminary and a rigorously trained meditation instructor with over 20 years of intensive practice and teaching experience. He continues advanced study in psychedelic therapy modalities within the community of senior students of Ralph Metzner, PhD, a pioneer in consciousness-expanding and psychedelic-assisted therapies. His work bridges evidence-based psychiatric care, psychedelic medicine, and integrative healing frameworks.
