Dr. Husam G. is a highly accomplished, board-certified physician with extensive expertise in internal medicine, endocrinology, and geriatrics. With more than four decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience across the United States and the Middle East, Dr. Husam G. has dedicated his career to advancing high-quality, patient-centered care for older adults and individuals with complex medical conditions. He currently works as an endocrinologist at OSF Healthcare, Peoria, Illinois.  Dr. Husam G. completed his medical training at the American University of Beirut, followed by advanced residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Baylor College of Medicine. He has held numerous leadership and academic positions, including Professor of Medicine and Head of the Geriatric Division at the Lebanese University, as well as long-standing faculty appointments at Baylor College of Medicine and the American University of Beirut. His scholarly work includes extensive research, publications, and international collaborations focused on aging, metabolic disease, dementia, and long-term care.
