Dr. Sarah B. is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with specialized training in Addiction Medicine and a strong foundation in Public Health. With more than 15 years of combined clinical experience across the U.S. and Ghana, she brings a broad, patient-centered perspective to the management of chronic illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. She currently practices full-time at Signature Health in Ohio, where she provides comprehensive outpatient, residential, and telehealth care in both Addiction Medicine and Primary Care. Dr. Sarah B. completed her medical education at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana and later earned a master’s degree in Public Health & Health Administration from Towson University. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center and subsequently trained as an Addiction Medicine fellow at MetroHealth and St. Vincent Charity in Cleveland. Her clinical background includes advanced training in MAT (buprenorphine, naltrexone, methadone), withdrawal management, chronic disease treatment, and integrated behavioral care. Her experience spans diverse clinical environments, including community hospitals, academic medical centers, residential programs, and international health settings. She has also contributed to medical education through teaching roles, committee work, and involvement in public health initiatives.
